This year's participation is a joint venture within the framework of the Southern Sweden Going Global project, aiming to increase the competitiveness of Skåne's life science businesses, as well as their visibility on the international market.
"Through close collaboration within the region, we have managed to make our mark and show the strength and versatility of southern Sweden's life science flora. The project's professional development activities have prepared our businesses well for the international industry and investor contacts that are now being made, and we look forward to results and new collaborations," says Ebba Fåhraeus, CEO of SmiLe Incubator.
“As an innovative incubator business, this is a unique opportunity for us to network and make new contacts with strategic collaboration partners. We’ve received positive signals from investors and Big Pharma alike, which will probably lead to concrete results. Without support from the project, this would not have been possible for us,” concludes Shahram Lavasani, CEO of ImmuneBiotech.
“It’s fantastic to see such great enthusiasm and such a high level of activity from the Skåne businesses. This strengthens the region’s position on the international life science arena,” says Ulf G Andersson, CEO of Medeon Science Park & Incubator.
The participating companies from the incubators are Adroit Science, Apoglyx, BioActive Polymers, BTB Pharma, ControlSep, Ebba Biotech, Iconovo, ImmuneBiotech, Junvik Clinical Development Consulting, Pila Pharma, Red Glead Discovery, Redoxis, SAGA Diagnosics, SARomics Biostructures, SOLVE Research, Truly Labs, Truly Translational, VibroSense Dynamics, and Xintela.
Next year, Nordic Life Science Days will take place in Malmö and Copenhagen, in Medicon Valley. The conference has previously taken place in Stockholm exclusively, and attracts over 1,000 participants from 30 countries.
