Skåne has a strong start-up scene with grass roots organizations working side by side with public initiatives. Working together in an organic way, local entrepreneurs, incubators, clusters, events and meet-ups are all creating a powerful whole, helping start-ups and the community to develop and grow.
An extra asset of being an entrepreneur in Skåne is that you can take advantage of the many networks available also on the Danish side of the Öresund. Copenhagen has a booming start-up scene which works closely with Skåne’s.

Malmö Startups – a grass root network working cross organizational to build a startup community in Skåne. They run the How to start a start-up course in Lund offering lectures and food to participants, as well as organizing meet-ups.
Foo Café – an independent meeting point for people in media and technology, offers space for conferences and meet-ups.
Startup Dojo – meet-ups once a month to help each other improve everyone’s start-ups.
StartupÖl – once a month meet-ups circulating at the region’s incubators, with beverages and snacks.

StartupLabs – the incubator Minc in Malmö offers a flexible work space for you who just or not quite yet started your project or business. An alternative to working at cafés, with free coffee in an entrepreneurial environment.
TPLN – a makers space available for free to anyone who wants to create and build things, produce cultural events or experiment with project designs. Malmö
Djäkne Kaffebar - an entrepreneurial café welcoming creative people to meet as well as work on their laptops. The same building also houses all Menmo Venture’s projects. Malmö
